"for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." - Luke 19:10 "This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..." - 1 Timothy 1:15 During the time of birth of Jesus, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph and announced the birth of Jesus through Mary his to be wife. The angel said that Jesus will save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). The very purpose of Jesus, the Son of God, to become Man was to save sinners. In the history of our world there were many "gurus" and religious leaders that came and taught but no one came to die for the sin of the world. In fact they did not (could not) die for their own sin. Jesus Christ is God in flesh, and only He could pay for the sin of the whole world. Remember, Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. Those who believe in Him and trust Him as their Lord and Savior, they will be saved. Praise the Lord!
