| "For He says: 'In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.' Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." - 2 Corinthians 6:2
"While it is said: 'Today, if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.' " - Hebrews 3:15
Like a sower casting seed into the field, so is the Word of God going forth in the preaching of the Gospel today. Yet many reject it, oppose it, and even rebel against it. A man may hear the Word of God once in his lifetime, but there is no guarantee he will hear it again. The continual hardening of the heart can silence the very message that was meant to save him.
Therefore, Scripture declares with urgency: “Today is the day of salvation; now is the accepted time.” Do not turn away from the words of eternal life spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is the way, the truth, and the life.
