"To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." - Revelation 3:21
The Christian journey is often marked by challenges and rough paths, for our Lord never promised a carefree life. In fact, He warned His disciples that they would face hatred and persecution. Yet this same path is filled with the peace of Christ and the joy of salvation, gifts that cannot be taken away. Those who cling to Christ will experience His peace and His joy even in the midst of the fiercest storm.
So let us press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. And let us seek from our Lord the grace we need - grace to endure, grace to overcome, and grace to walk faithfully until the end.
