"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." - James 1:22
Scripture teaches us that faith without works is dead. But that doesn't mean that we are saved due to our work. For by grace through faith are we saved. But one character of a true Christian is his obedience to Christ. Our work and service to Christ is (should be) as a result of our love and faithfulness to Him, and not with any other intentions. Christ is looking for doers of His word, and can He count on you and me? Think about it.
