"He must increase, but I must decrease." - John 3:30
John the Baptist was the greatest prophets according to Jesus. John confessed Jesus to be the Christ and he humbled himself before the Lord. He gave all glory to Christ and let Christ take preeminence in his life. As believers only when we humble ourselves we let Christ increase in us. Pride prevents us from humbling and robs us of the true joy of Christ reigning in us. Let us lay aside our own self and let Christ increase in us. Only when we decrease He can increase in us.
