"But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep." - 1 Corinthians 15:20
Resurrection of believers in Christ is one of the foundational truths of Christianity. As apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote, 'if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty' (1 Cor 15:14). Jesus Christ rose from the dead and became the firstfruits of all those who have fallen asleep in Him. Death is not the end but only the beginning to eternity to those who believe in the Lord Jesus.
