"Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it (He) is near - at the doors!" - Matthew 24:32-33 "He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! " - Revelation 22:20 When we read chapter 24 of the Gospel according to St. Matthew, it reads as if we are reading the current events of our days. Does this mean we are in the end of age and Christ will return soon? Absolutely, we are living in the last days and we are 2000 years closer when the last days began. We do not know the day or time when our Lord will return, but we know that He is coming quickly. The return of our Lord is near - at the doors, and we need to be faithful and hopeful, keeping our eyes on the sky as we serve Him. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Praise the Lord!
