"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27 "He [Jesus Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." - Colossians 1:15 God created man in His own image. But with sin entering the world through man's disobedience, the image of God in man was marred, and sin corrupted what otherwise was perfect and magnificent. Jesus Christ took the form of a man and He was born in the flesh. And in Him the image of God was preserved with the very perfectness that God intended in Adam. Adam fell but Jesus was victorious. What Adam lost that Jesus gained. Our Lord conquered back everything and those who now believe in Jesus are clothed with His righteousness. We who believe in Him will reflect with the image of Christ with perfectness when we face Him. When God see us, He sees His Son in us. Praise the Lord!
