"Thus says the Lord: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the Lord" - Jeremiah 9 V23, 24 "...He who glories, let him glory in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 1 V31 We are tempted to boast on the things we possess, which actually all came from God, and we have all succumbed to this temptation and we steal the glory that belongs to God alone. Whether rich or poor, strong or weak, wise or unwise, let us remember that we all are here on earth because of God's will and all we possess is also because of God's will. Let us in thanksgiving and praise, give glory to God. Above all give Him glory for our redemption which Christ bought with His own blood. Heaven is all about giving glory to God. Praise the Lord! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
