Most men will proclaim each his own goodness. People like to be people pleasers and do things that win them favour of others. The Bible says, "there is none righteous, no, not one" and also it says, "it is impossible to please God without faith". We cannot please God with our own abilities or goodness but only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When we trust the Lord, we are clothed by His righteousness. His grace He offers freely to those who are willing to believe and not trust in their own goodness. Come to the Lord just as you are and by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Praise the Lord!
