"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11
In the midst of turmoil and difficulty, what is the first thought that comes to mind? Do we think of trusting in the Lord and letting His peace control us? Trusting in the Lord should be a believer's natural response. Because our God has thoughts of peace toward us. He has all things in His control. And when we walk in His will, we have nothing to fear.
