"He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." - Proverbs 28:13 " 'Come now, and let us reason together,' says the LORD, 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.' " - Isaiah 1:18 To understand the weight of the gospel, we must first acknowledge the reality of sin. Sin separates us from God, and all who leave this world with unforgiven sin will face eternal separation from Him. Yet God, in His mercy, has provided the only way of redemption. Our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins; He bore them upon Himself on the cross. All who believe in Him and trust Him as their Lord and Savior are forgiven and reconciled to God. Scripture teaches that the one who hides his sin will not prosper, but the one who confesses and forsakes his sin finds mercy. When we turn to the Lord in repentance, He cleanses us our sins become white as snow through the righteousness of Christ. Praise the Lord for the redemption we have in Him. Praise the Lord!
