| "They said to Him, 'Caesar's.' And He said to them, 'Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.' " - Matthew 22:21
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." - Romans 12:1
When the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus with a trick question about paying taxes to Caesar, hoping they would entangle Him, Jesus' answer was profound that answered not just to the Pharisee but also to all of us. We ought to offer God the things that belongs to God. Now the next question may be, 'What belongs to God?' Well, everything belongs to God. We are created in the image of God, and we are His property. We ought to give God everything. For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. (Rom. 11:36). Let us therefore, by the mercies of God, present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service.
Praise the Lord!
