| "Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed." - Daniel 7:14
"Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things being to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." - Luke 21:27, 28
If someone were to ask, “What is your motivation in life?”, how would we answer? Many live each day simply to get through it, working, pursuing comfort, and seeking moments of pleasure. While there is nothing inherently wrong with work or enjoying the good gifts of life, these things must never become our ultimate aim. As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, our deepest motivation should be to live each day in anticipation of His return, serving Him with all that we are and all that we have for His glory.
We can faithfully fulfill our earthly responsibilities and enjoy the blessings God provides, yet do so with hearts that continually seek His will in everything. Our greatest hope is the return of our Lord. He will come for His Church at any moment. He will appear in the clouds with power and great glory, and all nations will bow before Him. There will be no hesitation, no resistance; every knee will bow in the presence of the King of kings.
The promised return of our Lord Jesus Christ should stir our hearts, shape our priorities, and motivate our daily lives. Let us live with expectation, devotion, and unwavering hope.
Praise the Lord!
