"O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come. Iniquities prevail against me; as for our transgressions, You will provide atonement for them." - Psalm 65:2, 3 "And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool." - Hebrews 10:11-13 According to the commandment given to Israel in the Old Testament, the priests were appointed to offer daily sacrifices for the atonement of the people’s sins. These offerings were continual, yet they were temporary—shadows pointing forward to the final and perfect sacrifice of the Lamb of God. In the fullness of time, Jesus Christ offered Himself once for all, a permanent and all‑sufficient sacrifice for the redemption of all who believe in Him. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. After offering Himself for the sins of His people, our Lord rose and ascended to the right hand of God, where He now reigns. One day He will glorify His name by gathering all His redeemed into His presence forever. Praise God for His great sacrifice and eternal redemption. Praise the Lord!
