"Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain; he is like the beast that perish." - Psalm 49:12 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret things, whether good or evil." - Ecclesiastes 12:13,14 We often wear an image when we face people to show we are happy and joyful, and all are needs are met, but our inward person may tell a different story. Outside of God, men are driven to earn honor and fame for their own glory, and heap riches for themselves knowing that not one dime will they carry to the next world after they leave this world. So, what is the purpose of life then? Well, the Bible teaches that God created all things for His glory, and when we live for His glory, we complement the very purpose we were created for. Everything else is vanity. We see the conclusion of the matter in the book of Ecclesiastes that we should fear God and keep His commandments. When we put are trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of God will lead us to bring Him glory. Praise the Lord!
