| "One things I have desired of the LORD, that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple." - Psalm 27:4
"For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better." - Philippians 1:23
Apostle Paul served the Lord faithfully and he worked tirelessly to take the Gospel to the Jews and Gentiles. One thing he desired was to depart and be with the Lord Jesus Christ, which he knew would happen one day. Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, all those who love the Lord, desire to be with the Lord. To be with the Lord is far better. There will be no more sorrow or suffering but just peace and rejoicing in His presence. King David prayed the same prayer. He desired and longed to dwell in the house of the LORD, to behold the beauty of the LORD. Let's serve the Lord while we are here on earth for a day is coming when we will be rejoicing in His presence. Until then let's serve the Lord faithfully.
