| "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 3:18
God created man in His own image. We are separate and unique from all other creatures in the sense that we bear the image of God. Because of sin man now has the knowledge of good and evil, and his heart is desperately wicked. The fellowship Adam had with God was broken because of sin, and man continues to rebel against the most holy God. Jesus Christ came into the world to redeem us from the curse of sin and restore our relationship with God. Those who believe and live by faith are now transformed into the image of Christ, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Man broke but God mended our relationship with Him through the blood of Jesus Christ.
