| "The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master's crib; but Israel does not know, My people do not consider." - Isaiah 1:3
"...Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion." - Hebrews 3:15
The Old Testament in the Bible pictures God, the redeemer of Israel, pursuing Israel with an outstretched arm. But Israel constantly rebelled and killed the prophets sent by God. Finally, the redeemer of the world came to earth through the nation of Israel and He died with an outstretched arm on the cross. The message is same as was given to Israel, but now everyone is invited to receive the Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus invites everyone who thirsts and hungers for righteousness. All those who are heavy laden with their sins are invited. He will give rest, and He will give eternal life. Man's natural response to the invitation of God is rebellion. But God says, today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, but come!
Praise the Lord!
