"As it is written: 'There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God." - Romans 3:10,11
Man discovered "religion" so he can work his way to another world free of suffering and full of joy. This place we call heaven. But the Bible teaches us that there is none righteous, no, not one. And no man is justified before God by the works of the law. We cannot make our way to heaven by our own efforts. It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Believing and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way that guarantees eternal life. When we believe, the righteousness of Christ is given to us while on the cross our sins were imputed on Him. By grace are we saved through faith. It is a gift of God to those who believe, and none can boast about our self-righteousness or our efforts when we stand in His presence. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and He will give you eternal life.
