"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD." - Genesis 6:8
"Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more." - Romans 5:20
Out of all the population in the days of Noah, only Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. As a result, only eight souls were saved and the rest all perished in the global flood. Grace is defined as God's unmerited favor and kindness, a gift freely given, not earned, and a source of salvation and spiritual empowerment. It is something God gives freely to undeserved and unworthy people. Through Jesus Christ, God has offered His grace and salvation to all people. Just as Noah preached about the coming flood and God's grace for about hundred year, the message of salvation through Jesus Christ is preached to all people. Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. All who receive the grace of God by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in His name, will inherit eternal life.
Praise the Lord!
