"Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them had dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." - Genesis 1:26 "And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man." - 1 Corinthians 15:49 In the beginning God created a perfect world. A world full of wonderful creatures and beauty. God created man in His own image, which means unlike other animals man had conscientiousness and free will. God gave dominion to man over all the creatures and His creation. But with man's will to sin and rebel against the most Holy God ended up making the creation cursed. Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned (Rom 5:12). The only remedy to this problem was for God to intervene and Himself pay the price for the sin of the world. God sent His Son to reverse the curse and to take the sin of the whole world upon Himself. To them that believe and put their trust in the Lord Jesus, God will transform into the image of His Son, the heavenly Man! Praise the Lord!
