"For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7
Unlike the religions of our world today, Christianity is a faith based commitment and relationship. It is relationship with God our Father through faith in His Son Jesus Christ in fellowship and comfort of the Holy Spirit. It is not good works, nor rituals, nor penance. Jesus Christ paid it all on the cross, and we come to Him by faith. Just as children depend on their parent for all their needs, we are called to depend on God for all our needs. Christians are called to walk by faith, and not by sight, nor our feelings or emotions. God is faithful and worthy of all our trust and hope.
