| "Jesus said to her [Mary Magdalene], 'Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' ' " - John 20:17
"yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live." - 1 Corinthians 8:6
Jesus Christ our Lord revealed to us our relationship with God. Because of the work of Christ on the cross, and by believing Him, we can now call God our Father. He is our loving Father, compassionate and merciful. For the scripture says, "But as many as received Him [Jesus], to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His [Jesus] name. John 1:12.
