"If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." - 1 John 1:10
All have sinned and sin separates us from God. We are born with a body of sin, and sinning against the holy God doesn't stop from birth to death. But God has not left us in this state, but He provided the greatest sacrifice for the remission of our sins. This is why trusting in Jesus is the only way into the holy presence of God. Those who trust Christ, and seek His forgiveness, He is faithful and just to forgive us from our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let out prayers also include a prayer of confession.
