| "Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, 'Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed." - Luke 2:34,35
"Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save Me from this hour'? But for this purpose I came to this hour." - John 12:28
Jesus Christ came into this world with an humble entrance. He was born in a stable and wrapped in rags by His mother, Mary. Simeon prophesied that this Child is destined to the rise and fall of many. His mother would witness the death of her Son. Jesus Christ was born to die. He died so we may have life. All who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will have eternal life. Our salvation came at a price, the price of the death of Son of God. He came and died so we may have eternal life. He rose again conquering death and hailed victorious as the King of king and the Lord of lords.
