"And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." - Matthew 6:13
We are surrounded by evil and just as in the days of Noah, every thought and intent of man is continuously evil. It is only the grace and strength of God that can let us live without sinning against our holy God. Our Lord taught us to pray to the Father to deliver us from all evil. Satan is powerful but not powerful above the grace of God. Our Lord is stronger and He enables His children to overcome temptation when we study His word and meditate on it day and night. Do not let evil deceive, but trust in the Lord and draw near to Him.
