"...Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" - Luke 19:38
When Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, He entered sitting on a donkey. He could have entered on chariots of heaven, but He chose to enter as a lowly King. People cried out, "Hosanna! Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord", thus fulfilling Psalm 118:26. People expected Jesus to establish His kingdom and cast out the Romans. But Jesus had a bigger purpose. Far higher than anyone even imagined. One day Jesus will enter Jerusalem, and this time as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. All those who trust Him will enter with Him to rule and reign.
