"We love Him because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19
God displayed His love for us by becoming flesh, like one of us, and by experiencing every need of a human being, and at the end suffering and dying a cruel death. He did this because this was the only way mankind could be saved from sin and death. God displayed His great love toward us by dying for our sin. His love is not measurable and far beyond we can imagine. We love Him because He first loved us.
