The work of salvation has been accomplished by the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. There is nothing more to be done or nothing that can alter God's plan of salvation. His plan is that mankind believe on His Son and receive Him in their heart. This is the only way one can have eternal life. God's gift of eternal life is free to all who will believe and commit their life to Jesus.
