| "No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit. And no one has power in the day of death. There is no release from that war, and wickedness will not deliver those who are given to it." - Ecclesiastes 8:8
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
What is more important, wealth of this world or the spirit of man? Man can gain wealth by various means and yet wealth leaves one more empty than before. One may think that wealth and riches would solve majority of our worlds problem or personal problems, but we know this is not true. Without Christ even the worlds entire riches will not profit a man. On the contrary, one who has nothing in this world but has Christ in his heart has everything his soul needs. Remember, it is God who has power over the spirit of man and nothing else in this world outside of Jesus Christ can satisfy our soul.
