| "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom, which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:28-29
"His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like a flame of fire." - Revelation 1:14
Our God is a holy God. His holiness is beyond human comprehension. Nothing unclean can approach God, because He is a consuming fire. God is love and in His love He made provision for man to approach Him through His Son Jesus Christ. With the righteousness of Christ we will one day be in the presence of God, praising Him along with the heavenly hosts. Let us thank God for His goodness and mercy for allowing us to approach His holiness.
