| "Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near." - Isaiah 55:6
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!" - Matthew 23:37
Jesus weeps over Jerusalem and He is sad that His own people rejected Him and did not accept the gift of salvation. Jesus performed many sign and He fulfilled all the prophesies in front of the very eyes of the people who rejected Him. But their hearts were hardened and they became even more bitter. Even to this day we see the same response from people. When the Gospel is preached there are those who receive the grace while others reject it. The Bible says, 'Seek the Lord while He may be found.' Today is the day of salvation.
