"But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." - Romans 13:14 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places" - Ephesians 6:12 If we could only see the enemy we wrestle with we would have a whole different perspective of the battle we are in. In a way it's good we do not see the enemy because our he is deadly and we cannot win this enemy by our own strength. The world we live in is ruled by the prince of darkness and all those who are deceived by him are in darkness and they cannot discern between the goodness of God and the wickedness of Satan. The Bible teaches us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and have the whole armor of our faith all the time. This is the only way to keep the enemy at bay. Make not provision for the flesh because the enemy is strong. But greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Praise the Lord!
