"The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." - Revelation 20:10
The battle between good and evil started in heaven when devil and his angels rebelled against the most holy God. The devil deceived mankind and made Adam and Eve sin and thus the battle between good and evil continues on earth to this day. God sent His Son to redeem the world and pay for the sin of mankind, thus freeing anyone who believes in Jesus Christ free from the shackles of sin. Evil will be put down permanently one day by the King of kings and Lord of lords when the devil will be cast into the lake of fire and there will be no deception, no sin, anymore. Satan like a roaring lion is seeking whom he may deceive and devour, but praise be to God for He was victorious and He gives victory to all who come to Him.
