"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures..." - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Sadly, many people who call themselves Christians do not know what the true Gospel message is. John the apostle wrote the Gospel of John to convey the importance of one truth and that is, Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that believing in Him we may have life. The deity of Christ and His work to redeem His people is the core of the Christian doctrine. The Gospel conveys us the truth that Christ died for our sins and He was buried and that He rose again the third day. Without the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, the whole Christian message is empty. Believe in Christ and receive the true Gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation.
