"I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake." - 1 John 2:12
All our sins were nailed to the cross of Christ and Christ once and for all paid the price which otherwise no other sacrifice or gift that man can offer would appease God's judgment. Our sins are forgiven for His name's sake and the gift of pardon is a free gift Christ offers to all those who believe in Him.
