"...Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord." - Job 1 V21

"...Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil." - Ecclesiastes 12 V13

The real purpose of our lives is to bring glory to God. Like the flower in the field, which is there for a day and the next day it is gone, so is man's life. But when we live to bring glory to God, our reward is in heaven and it remains forever. We bring nothing to this world when we are born nor do we take anything with us when we die, even though we may have spent all our lives earning and accumulating. But when we live for Christ we leave a legacy and the legacy remains forever. The wisest man who ever lived concluded that fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all. Why do we then toil day and night for nothing. Let's live for Christ and bring glory to His name. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
