"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" - Matthew 16 V26

"O wretched man that I am! who will deliver me from this body of death?" - Romans 7 V24

What is more expensive than the price of a human soul? Men toil day and night and collect as much wealth they can to live a comfortable life in their latter days of life. Someone can collect all the wealth they want, but when they die they are not going to carry a dime, but all that matters is the person's relationship with Christ. A person without Christ is lost, and lost forever. Man can give nothing to God in exchange for his soul. In our basic state we all are wretched and helpless and can give nothing in exchange to our souls. But we can rejoice in one truth that Christ paid it all and he bought our souls and when we receive Him as our Lord, He gives us eternal life because He exchanged His life for our souls at the cross. Only Christ can deliver us from this body of death and give us everlasting life. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
