"...Lazarus, come forth!" - John 11 V43 

"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 4 V14

The Lord Jesus during His ministry on earth raised many people from the dead. The raising of Lazarus must have been an awesome scene and many believed in Jesus as a result, but others only hardened their hearts. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. (John 11 V25). As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have the promise and hope that we shall live with Christ. The Lord will raise His own with glorious physical bodies and we shall live with the Lord forever. One day the Lord Jesus will appear and He will call His own, just like in the case of Lazarus, and all who died in Christ and all those who are living at that time, all will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and He will save you and give you eternal life. Praise the Lord!
