"I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." - Acts 26 V17, 18

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth)." - Ephesians 5 V8, 9

The people who are not saved, that is, people who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Master and Saviour, the Bible says, they are in darkness and the prince of this world, Satan, has blinded them. Satan is powerful and he controls the things under his authority, but greater is He that is in me than he that is in this world. Even though Satan may rule this world for a short while, and he will persecute God's people, God still controls the world and has the final say. God has power over our body and soul. Christians are called to be the light of this world for the world that is in darkness may see the light and draw near to God. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of men!
