"If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the Lord will reward you." - Proverbs 25 V22

"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven..." - Matthew 5 V43-45

The Lord Jesus Christ gave a new commandment to His followers to love one another. Out of all the laws the Old Testament scripture teaches us, our Lord summarized the law in two great commandments, one is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind, and the second commandment is to love the neighbour likewise. Unlike the popular religions of this world which call its followers to fight and rebel, the principles of Christianity hangs on just these two commandments. Our Lord loved us so much that He gave Himself for us on the cross, and He taught us to love one another and even love our enemies. We can see a classic example of this when our Lord before He died on the cross, He prayed to the Father to forgive the very people who crucified Him. Let's live by the example of our Lord and keep His commandment all the days of our life. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
