"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God..." - Ephesians 2 V8

"...who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began..." - 2 Timothy 1 V9

God has given us the free gift of salvation and by His grace and purpose He has offered us this gift. The grace of God is a favour that we receive and it is something that we do not deserve but still God offers us His grace freely. Our goodness is like filthy rags to God and we all stand condemned before God except that we receive His grace through Jesus Christ our Lord. The invitation to receive Jesus Christ is open and all are invited. Jesus Christ purchased our redemption with His own blood, the blood of the spotless Lamb. Praise the Lord!
