"The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord." - Isaiah 11 V2

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of the sight of the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." - Luke 4 V18,19

The Lord Jesus Christ came into this world just as the Scripture said He would. He came to give liberty to His people. The Spirit of God was upon Him and He preached the gospel to the poor. He performed great signs and He even raised the dead from grave. At His command the wind and the sea trembled and obeyed. And yet, His own people did not respect and receive the Son of God. Instead they crucified Him on the cross not realizing that they were fulfilling the Scripture, as God said He would provide a Sacrifice for the sins of the world. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in the name of the Son shall be saved. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. Praise the Lord!
