An eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth, this is a general attitude we see in our world culture today. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to love our enemies and not to seek opportunity to strike back. Our Lord displayed the perfect example of love by letting His enemy destroy His physical body even when He could have called a legion of angels, but He stayed on the cross for yours and my sake. In essence, the gospel message is about the love of God for you and me, that He freely offers eternal life to all who believe in His Son Jesus Christ and live in fellowship with Him in every walk of their life. Do you love the Lord and obey His commandment? Praise the Lord!
