"Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt." - Exodus 12 V13

"Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us." - 1 Corinthians 5 V7

When God brought the plagues over Egypt, the last and the most deadly was the death of the firstborn of all Egypt. But those who had the sign of the blood of the lamb on the door post were spared and no harm came upon them. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God and the 'Passover' of mankind. Now there is no condemnation for those who believe in Christ and have a personal relationship with the Saviour. God's judgment will pass-over the righteous in Christ but to those who do not believe, them He will condemn. Do you have the sign of the blood of the Lamb on you?
