Israeli President Shimon Peres has held secretive talks with Palestinian leaders over the past few weeks in an effort to break the impasse in the Middle East peace process, according to a report by the Israeli Haaretz newspaper. The Israeli government has refused to comment on the Haaretz report, but Palestinian officials have confirmed that the president has met with Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat a number of times, and that the two men poured over maps of Israel and east Jerusalem. Israeli presidents aren't supposed to involve themselves in politics, but Shimon Peres has made no secret of his ambition to negotiate peace in the Middle East. After his resignation from party politics in 2005, Peres announced that he was planning to use his remaining years to push for a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. But when President Moshe Katsav was forced to resign after allegations of rape, former Prime Minister Shimon Peres was the natural choice to replace him. And since becoming president, Peres has made numerous statements regarding the peace process, in favour of establishing a Palestinian state. While the Palestinians are refusing to recommence negotiations until Israel halts all 'settlement activity' in Judea, Samaria, and east Jerusalem, it should come as no surprise that Peres is holding secret talks with the Palestinians to try and reach an agreement, especially in light of the approaching September vote at the United Nations.

Quote: "Haaretz has learned that on Tuesday night, Peres held a long meeting with the chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erekat. The two went over maps of the West Bank and East Jerusalem in an effort to find a formula that would bypass the dispute over establishing the June 4, 1967 border as a basis for negotiations toward a final settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.

As I have said many times before, it is interesting that the names Shimon and Peres in Hebrew means, 'listens' and 'division'. Could it be that Shimon Peres is living up to his name by hearkening to the division of God's land? Could it be that he will be instrumental in bringing about a peace agreement with the Palestinians? I don't know, but it is worth watching. Of course it is no secret that Shimon Peres was trained in a Jesuit school, and that he may also be a 33rd degree Freemason. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I don't know how much real power Freemasonry holds in this world. I do think that some people may attribute more power to them than what they actually possess. But I do believe that Freemasonry is, just as every religion of this world is, under the complete control of Satan himself. It should be no surprise then that Freemasonry's ultimate goal is the worship of Lucifer. In 1871, Albert Pike, a 33rd degree Freemason who helped found the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, outlined a plan whereby a one world government could be established through the process of three world wars. The first world war would be used to overthrow the Czars in the east, subdue Eastern Orthodoxy and weaken the eastern governments through the establishment of Communism. The second world war would be used to destroy Nazism, strengthen Zionism, and establish the state of Israel. Pike outlines the third world war below...

Quote: "The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion. We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

His predictions are remarkably accurate. But I do not believe that Albert Pike was somehow able to foresee the future, nor do I believe that Freemasonry is all powerful and able to control world events. I do not think that such a plan for world dominion, spanning hundreds of years and involving thousands of people, could be thought out or enacted by mere men. I think the outworking of such a plan requires a being that is immortal, whose designs are not impeded by death or successor, a being that is bent on self-glorification and world domination, a being who is at enmity with God. I think you can guess who that being is. People talk today about the Antichrist coming out of Islam, that Islam is going to play a big part in Bible prophecy. I think that Satan has had his 'Islam' in every century. It is very interesting that Freemasonry, which claims descendance from King Solomon who constructed the First Temple, would view the rebuilding of a Temple in Jerusalem in a positive light. And no doubt Satan, the 'Supreme Architect' of Freemasonry, would delight to have his 'messiah' appear before them in it. It is also interesting that the Muslims believe that Mohamed is going to come back, with the 'prophet Jesus', and rule over Jerusalem for a period of seven years. Rabbinical Judaism is also preparing for the rebuilding of the Temple, and awaits its coming 'messiah', whom we know will end up being the Antichrist (2nd Thessalonians 2:4). It is a coincidence? I don't think so. I think Satan has planned all of this in such a way that the Antichrist will be able to unite all religions and all peoples and that all will worship him as he desired in the beginning (Isaiah 14).

I don't know how much power Freemasonry holds in this world. Nor do I want to know. I only know what the Bible tells me. And praise God that He has revealed to us through His Word what is to take place in the latter days. As my friend Cliff says, the Holy Spirit 'spilled the beans' on this whole charade over 2000 years ago. And He told us what will happen so that when we see it coming to pass we might trust in Him. We have to also remember that no matter what happens, the Lord still rules in the kingdom of men (Daniel 4:17). Satan is only permitted to do what the Lord allows, and God is still in complete control of events. For the Lord says in Joel 3:2, "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land". Praise God that He will do it, for His glory. And praise God that Christ shall return, and the Beast and the False Prophet that deceived them will be taken, and cast alive into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20). And the Lord shall establish His kingdom, and of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end (Isaiah 9:6-7).

As you can see, Bible prophecy is being fulfilled. Jesus Christ is coming back. Are you ready to meet Him? Have your sins been forgiven? Have you trusted in Him for salvation? Time is short. Don't wait until it is too late. Turn away from your sins, and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation today. He will not turn you away.

John 15:15
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
