This link from my friend Adam...

A government paper published by the Labour government states that after the implementation of the Sexual Orientation Regulations (SORs) in the United Kingdom, it will become illegal for faith schools to teach that Christian morals (no sex before marriage, one man for one woman, etc) are "objectively true". Teachers will still be able to tell pupils "this is what Christians believe", but they will not be able to instruct pupils that this is more morally correct than homosexuality, or that marriage between a man and a woman is the preferable situation. As the article states, Christians believe that the homosexual act is sinful in God's eyes, though the condition of homosexuality is not. The familiar phrase "love the sinner, hate the sin" pretty much sums up the Lord's and our approach to this subject. But the government doesn't see things this way, and all schools will be forced to place homosexuality on an equal footing with Christian beliefs.

Quote: "Published February 26, the report says, "We do not consider that the right to freedom of conscience and religion requires the school curriculum to be exempted from the scope of the sexual orientation regulations." With the Equality Act 2006, the government empowered itself to create regulations making it illegal for anyone providing goods, services, facilities, premises, education or public functions, to discriminate against that person on the grounds of "sexual orientation". The SOR's are scheduled to come into effect in England and Wales and Scotland in April this year after a ratifying vote in Parliament. They came into effect in Northern Ireland January 1.

The government has already drawn the ire of Catholic adoption agencies in the United Kingdom. The agencies have told the government they will be forced to close the doors, rather than permitting children to be placed with homosexual partners. The adoption agencies could be taken to court if they refuse to comply with the laws, but still the government is pressing on with the legislation. In another article sent to me by my friend Adam, the UK government is forcing Christian judges to place children with homosexual partners, in spite of their personal beliefs. They are not permitted to be excused from cases which would see children places with homosexual partners, and if they value their beliefs at all, the only option left is to resign.

Quote: "After the Civil Partnerships Act was passed in 2005, McClintock requested that he be excused from cases involving adoption by homosexual couples because, not only did homosexual adoption contradict his religious beliefs, he thought that placing a child in such a home would be removing them from "one kind of harm only to face another hazard." As previously reported by LifeSiteNews, McClintock resigned his job in 2005 after he was informed by his managers that he would not be permitted to excuse himself from specific cases. McClintock had served as a magistrate judge in Britain's Sheffield County for 18 years.

In short I believe we can officially wave goodbye to the United Kingdom. Somebody once stated that a country's society was built upon the family unit, and that if this foundation is destroyed, that country will collapse. No other British government has done more to destroy the family unit than the present, and I believe this will bring God's judgement upon this nation sooner or later.

Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness [which] they have prescribed;
