| "Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin." - Psalm 51:2
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." - 1 John 1:7
Unconfessed sin in a believer brings restlessness and robs us of the peace of God. The Holy Spirit, who dwells within us, lovingly convicts us of our sin. That conviction leads us to come before God, seeking His forgiveness and asking for His strength to repent and walk in obedience.
Through the precious blood of Jesus Christ our Lord, we are cleansed from all sin. He paid the full penalty for our sins on the cross and secured our redemption. As we confess our sins, He faithfully forgives us. Though we still live in sinful flesh, we now belong to the living God. We are His redeemed people, called to serve Him and to live for His glory through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Praise the Lord!
