| "Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near." - Isaiah 55:6
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded." - James 4:8
It is not natural for us, in our sinful state, to seek the Lord. Sin separates us from God, and left to ourselves we would never turn toward Him. Yet in His mercy and steadfast love, God draws us to Himself. He gave Himself for us by dying on the cross, bearing our sins in His own body. And today, with outstretched arms, He receives all who come to Him in faith.
Those who seek the truth, who seek the Lord diligently, will surely find Him. When we draw near to God, He has promised that He will draw near to us. His grace meets us, His mercy restores us, and His love welcomes us into fellowship with Him.
Call upon the Lord while He is near.
Praise the Lord!
